We’ve sent an email to backers who purchased the digital edition with links to download the file type suitable for your device (Kindle, epub, pdf). Please reference your device manual if you are unsure of which file type is appropriate or how to sync it to your device.

With less than three weeks to go until the Great British Chefs Cookbook starts shipping it’s time to make any final updates to your shipping addresses.
Each of you may have received an email from BackerKit today with a link to update your shipping address. If no changes are needed, you do not need to take any further actions.
We were thrilled to see the first copies of our Great British Chefs cookbook coming off the press last week. It’s incredible to see the beautiful photos and recipes in print for the first time.

Final recipe edits before sending the cookbook to the printer
The process of creating the first Great British Chefs cookbook has been an exciting journey thus far. What began as an idea, became reality when 2,763 of you backed us on Kickstarter.
Our original estimated delivery date was July 2018 but in order to deliver the beautifully designed, high quality book we promised we are revising our expected delivery date to August 2018. We expect to receive the books from the printer in mid-August and will be able to start shipping soon after.
The key reasons for the revised timeline are as follows:
Recipe editing –
We had such a great response from the chefs we approached that instead of the 110 recipes we promised, the cookbook will now include over 120 recipes! Sometimes the recipes we received from chefs call for ingredients or equipment not available outside of professional kitchens. In order to ensure that recipes are accessible for you to make at home we needed more time than originally planned to finalise recipe edits with the chefs.
Book production – The increase in recipes means a larger book and requires additional materials, some of which have long lead times. It’s important to us that the Great British Chefs cookbook be well made and that the pages are high quality, colour accurate and sturdy enough to handle the wear and tear of frequent use.
What this means for you:
We will continue providing regular updates to keep you informed on the status of the book.
When the book is ready to ship in August we will contact backers to reconfirm shipping addresses.
For those attending the Great British Chefs supper clubs in July, these events will go on as planned. Email invitations have been sent to all ticket holders with event details. Please contact [email protected] if you have not received this email. Your signed cookbooks will be sent to you as soon as they become available.
